    Why Saying Sorry Feels Hard for Kids<\/h2>

    A toy breaks. A sibling cries. And the child just stands there, frozen.<\/p>

    What Maghfirah Really Means<\/h2>

    Tell your child in simple words:<\/p>

    Maghfirah means Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala lovingly forgives us when we come back to Him.<\/p><\/blockquote>

    Use a picture they understand.<\/p>

    When we do something wrong, the heart feels a little heavy. Like a smudge on a clean window.<\/p>

    Saying sorry to people wipes one side. Asking Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala wipes the other.<\/p>

    Introduce Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala through His beautiful names: Al-Ghafur<\/strong> (The All-Forgiving) and Al-Afuw<\/strong> (The Pardoner).<\/p>

    Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala does not wait far away. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala loves to forgive.<\/p>

    Forgiveness in Islam repairs two<\/em> relationships.<\/p>

    When your child hurts a person \u2192 they say sorry and make it right.
    When they make a wrong choice before Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala \u2192 they ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
    When both happen \u2192 they repair both sides.<\/p>
